A little about me
Jackson Myers
My work has often sat at the intersection of science, data, and the natural world. I studied physics at McGill University and Rice University, completing a professional master’s degree in nanoscale physics at Rice and spending many years working on an Applied Physics PhD (ABD).
That scientific background led me into renewable energy. For more than 13 years, I’ve worked in analytics across the wind and solar industries, helping make complex operating data useful. Today, I continue that work through Catspaw Systems.
Making things
Outside my energy work, I’m an independent app developer. I make apps around the subjects I keep coming back to—weather, sailing, the outdoors, and games—and publish them through Catspaw Systems on the App Store.
Outside
I’m happiest with a reason to get outside, whether that means time on the water, a hike, or simply observing the weather. At home, the cats make sure there’s never a shortage of company—or supervision.
